This policy explains what is covered if your Sonik cable develops a fault.
1. Warranty period
Sonik cables come with a [TBC: warranty length] warranty against manufacturing defects, counted from the date of delivery. [TBC: owner decision D6.]
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights under UAE consumer law. It does not take those rights away. [LAWYER TO CONFIRM.]
2. What is covered
We will repair, replace or refund a cable that fails because of a manufacturing defect during the warranty period. [TBC: confirm which remedy applies, and whether the customer chooses.]
3. What is not covered
- Damage from misuse, including bending or pulling beyond what the cable is designed for.
- Water damage, or physical damage such as cuts or crushing.
- Wear and tear from normal use.
- Damage caused by an unsupported charger or device. [TBC: list the supported devices and charging standards, and any restrictions.]
- Damage from modifications or repairs by anyone other than Sonik.
4. How to make a claim
- Email [TBC: support email] with your order number.
- Describe the fault in a few words.
- Send a photo or short video of the problem, if you can.
We will reply within [TBC: number] working days with the next steps. [TBC: confirm whether we ask you to send the cable back, and who pays for that.]
5. Performance and specifications
Data speed, display support, charging speed and similar features depend on your device, your charger and how you use the cable.
[TBC: Do not publish any specification, such as a data speed, display resolution or charging wattage, until the owner provides a test report or manufacturer data sheet. Remove any unsupported figure from product pages and this policy.]
6. Who provides the warranty
[TBC: confirm whether HMC FZE LLC (Sonik) or the factory provides the warranty, and how a factory warranty is handled.]
